Training days: Saturday, Sunday
Upon completion of the course: Certificate from the Educational and Methodical Center “Prof-IT” of SumDU of an established sample.
Programmers Club
A programmer is a promising profession with an interesting job and a high salary.
The project has been running since 2011 in Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.
We strive to make children interested in programming, providing them with real knowledge and skills.
The Programmers Club is not a school or an additional education section but a real club for children aged 11-17.
We select the best mentors for participants in our club, including both teachers and authors of these courses.
There are no strict requirements for attendance, material mastery, or grading. Groups are small, approximately 10 people. Each participant receives sufficient attention from the teacher.

Java Programming Basics (details)
For children: 6-7 (for experienced students) or 8-10 grades – introduction to programming basics, maintaining interest, students try their hand at solving serious problems in professional programming languages.
Java Programming Basics
Duration: 3-6 months, 2 times a week (September-May)
The course is designed for a 2-year training cycle.
Each module of the course is designed for half a year, 12 lessons twice a week (1.5 astronomical hours).
The course is recommended for students in grades 7-8.
During the course:
- Learn about the history of Java language creation, its capabilities, and prospects.
- Familiarize yourself with the Eclipse development environment and basic program development elements.
- Learn the rules of creating a Java program and its structure.
- Understand the syntax of the Java programming language, features of writing instructions.
- Find out what object-oriented programming is. Learn the basic concepts of such programming.
- Learn to work with graphic objects in the Eclipse development environment and control them using the keyboard.
- Using the Java programming language, create animation – movement of graphic objects.
- Create your computer game “New Year’s Rain” with various levels of difficulty.

System Administration
Duration: 3 months, 1-2 times a week (September-May)
The course is designed for 1 year of training.
Each module of the course is designed for half a year, 12 lessons twice a week (1.5 astronomical hours).
The course is recommended for students in grades 10-11.
During the course:
- Get acquainted with the device of a personal computer and learn to independently assemble and configure it, and if necessary, troubleshoot.
- Master the installation and principles of administering Windows operating systems.
- Learn how to connect a computer to a computer network and be able to manage this network: configure routers, manage wireless connections, organize shared resources.
- Know about the main protocols of the global network (DNS, e-mail, FTP) and understand the structure of the Internet.
- Learn to block the action of malicious programs, configure antivirus software, and firewalls.
- Familiarize yourself with the basics of PC and network service. Know how to configure data backup.
- The knowledge and skills acquired will be enough to confidently administer a home computer network and work as a system administrator right after school.
